A trip to last years Christmas

Hi LOVELIES!!!

It's been a while since I made a new post, but I havent been feeling very inspired lately... And you would think that since that wonderful holidays spirit is everywhere there is no better time to feel inspired. This is the first time I stopped to think about it, and I'm pretty sure the reason i'm feeling so down is that my family isnt here.

Last year around this time my Christmas tree had so many presents under it, I would be playing Christmas songs all the time, shopping with my mom until late at night, buying new clothe for our Christmas party, baking delicious cookies, staying up late watching movies with my sisters....

This year, I have no Christmas tree up, Presents arent wrapped, No songs, baking, movies, or shopping and it honestly does NOT feel like Christmas is this weekend. It just feels like another week is going by.

As I'm writing this, I'm holding my tears from running down my face, and taking deep breaths in between commas. If you have had to go through this, you know exactly how it feels.

Anyways... Sorry for the sad post, I havent had a chance to get that all off my chest.

A few pictures from our Christmas Last year...

With my mommy and sisters

My sisi's (I had something wrong with my eye all day)

With a few of my cousins

My mommy with the hubs and his family

My sisi with the Renan (Hubby)

Christmas Day we always go back or sometimes just sleep over my grandmas house, and have left overs for breakfast and lunch! hahah

 I really hope this is the first and last year I ever have to spend my Chirstmas without my mom dad and sisters!

Date night + Apple cobbler = amazing

Hey, Hey, Hey!!
I hope all you lovely readers woke up to a beautiful sky and a great breeze outside like I did :)
Last night the hubs and I got home mega late from our date night, so unfortunately I didnt have time to put the recipe post together :(

Last night the hubs and I went on a very well needed date night. We talked, laughed, ate some good food! I had lots of fun. It felt so good to see that it still feels like it did when we first started. The topics never ran out, and the butterflyes were still there!

Anyways...
I had a warm apple cobbler topped with cinnamon ice cream that was off the freakin chain!!!
Of course this morning I started searching for recipes and I found a few. He loved the dessert, so since his birthday is Saturday, {yep, my little baby is turning 23!} I will attempt to make it :)

As I searched and searched I came across this one. Apple crisp II
You see how there is more topphings than apples? Yes! just the way I like it :)
This recipe has 2,682 reviews and they are all good! that has to mean something right?

3 Blessed Years

Hi pretties!!!

It's official! 3 beautiful years have gone by since the hubby and I said "I do"
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that by the age of 15 I would have found the love of my life. But I did, and these 3 years have been the best years of my life. We have gone through some hard times but it has only made us stronger in the long run.

Here are our 3 years Anniversary Photo shoot pics!

Taking the pictures at the library was really fast! Since we couldnt be talking and playing around we went straight to the point. But I'm very happy with how the pictures turned out.
I definitely encourage taking anniversary pictures every year, it helps you see how much you two have changed together and in the future you see how good you looked when you were younger :)

This is our 2 Years Anniversary.

1 Year Anniversary.

I can see the difference already. I looked way better at 19! heheh
 I know you guys are tired at looking at pictures of the hubs and I, so tomorrow I'll try to post a recipe :)

In January I want to have a new blog template, so if you any of you ladies design blog templates or know anyone that do, I would love to know!

Have a Blessed Wednesday <3

I'm back baby!! ~Thankgiving

Hello LOVELIES! Do you feel my Christmas Spirit? Good, that was my point :) Since I wont be having a tree up in my house this year I thought why not put one up in my blog? Then I found something even better. This layout will be on my blog this month of December.

Anyways.... How have you lovelies been? I've been away for almost a month now... Not away on vacation (unfortunately) just away from my blog. At first when my parents were here it was kind of hard to take time and blog, then after my parents left I got a little depressed and I knew that if I went to write a post it would be a depressing one and y'all dont want that.

Now I'm back baby!! and I'm bringing Christmas with me!

What saved me from my minor depression was having thanksgiving right around the corner!

Thursday I woke up and went straight to the kitchen. There I spent the whole day making some delicious food. My plan was to take pictures of every recipe and blog about it. But as plans go, sometimes they fail. I did manage to take pictures of the most pefect cake ever!! My aunts recipe that If I may say so myself. NAILD IT!

This Thanksgiving I went to one of my best gals house Delfina from My Green Nest. It was really one of the best Thanksgiving Ive had!

So on to the pictures...

Look how gorgeous Our table looked!

Giving Thanks before we start the feast!
Delfina made this gorgeous and delicious turkey

Her sister Victoria made the most delicious bread which im still getting the recipe for it.

Dinner is on the the buffet table. Actually not everything fit there, so people had to go to the kitchen and get more food.

Our dessert. We had apple pie{by me} Chocolate mousse {by Victoria} chocolate cake {by Victoria} Pumpkin roll cake with cream cheese {by Diana}

After all that food we needed some tea to help us digest. So we had tea with Madeleine {by me} and a cake {by me. I'll be sharing the recipe with you tomorrow}

Dinner on my plate. {This is my first plate by the way... I think there was 2 more after this. Only this way could I try everything}

My cousin Pry with Delfinas son, Max.

Oh, some more news... I got my hair done :)

thats me on the left. My hair BEFORE! it looks good there, but my hair was so unhealthy, ans so much split ends.

My hair AFTER
I went lighter, and shorter! It feels so much healthier.

It feels good to be back!

Happy Wednesday LOVE!

Lovely Weekend and a Wreath

Hello Pretties!!
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend!
I had lots of fun with my friend Fe from Fe's Canvas

On Saturday we had lunch together and at night went to mizner park {a place with restaurants, live music, ice cream shops etc...}

Fe and I having dinner at Uncle Julios

The Hubby :)

Silly Boys

Sloans is a gormet home made icecream shop.  Delicious!

Then Yesterday Fe and I made our wreaths together.
Last week I asked for your help choosing which wreath to make and most votes went to number 5!

This is what I came up with...

Soo... What do you think?
I had so much fun making them... Here is a little tutorial how to make it.

Materials:

1. Wreath & Hanger
2. Felt & Pretty decorations
3. Hot glue gun, glue & Scissors

Directions:
1. Take a piece of felt
2. Cut it into a circular shape (The bigger the circle the bigger the flower)
3. start cutting it into a spiral and make it thicker as you go around.
4. Hold the thinnest part in between your fingers and start rolling it {make sure you keep your fingure on the bottom so its nice and even}
5. Glue the side
6. glue the bottom

To make a smaller flower just follow the steps above
but cut it into a smaller square

and you can also get fancy with it by making pretty designs

 Preettyyyy :)

With the hot glue gun glue the flowers any order you would like on your wreath.

TAAADDAAAA!!!

After making the wreath I helped Fe make her very first blog! and yesterday she posted about her wreath!
Go show the newbie some love and check out her beautiful wreath here

Kisses from my Super Hero Family <3
