Loving your accent

Hello Lovelies!! Today's post is all about ACCENT WALLS! I've been breaking my head open trying to think of what I'm going to do with the wall behind my couch. On Sunday, I remembered that one of my friends used to have a brick wall in her old apartment, it was GORGEOUS! so I asked her how she did it, and it was as simple as going to lowes and buying the wall panel! I'm so excited to get started on this project, I think its going to look great, and I cant wait to show you lovelies.

These are some other beautiful ideas for accent walls.

Stenciling accent walls!
When you are renting an apartment, you dont want to go through all the hassle of putting up wall paper. So instead, buy a pretty wall stencil and paint the pattern on!

I’ve been crushing on accent walls lately. Not just any accent wall though…barnwood accent walls...

Not a huge fan of accent walls, but this one is stunning!
I really like how subtle this is for the bedroom. The wall paint is a flat color, and the stencil paint is a shiny color.

I plan to have accent brick walls in my home, one day.
gorgeous! It has such a rustic feel to it.

An accent wall can be as simple as a dramatic wall color.

Dont be scared to use some patters or prints!


Would SO do an accent wall in this if our walls weren't textured.

    Love these accent walls. I HATE that my house has textured walls - it makes stuff like this near impossible to do. Next house will have nice, clean walls :)

    I love accent walls too! My room is a dark tan color with an apple green accent wall. I love it! I'm a huge fan of the flat/shiny look right now too though, if I was redoing my room I think I'd go for that look. It is just so modern!

    I am in the process of using a wall stencil in my office now from cutting edge stencil. Its a process because the stencils aren't that large and you have to keep moving them along the wall. Can't wait till its done though!

    We had a brick wall accent in our kitchen but it looked so out of place so we took it out. I do like it in some places though. LOVE that shiny pattern on flat paint. Can't wait to see your finished wall!
